Advance IT Minnesota is pleased to announce its second annual Business Case Study Competition. This competition is being held in response to our Industry Partners’ strong and ongoing need for tech-savvy graduates who have both strategic and tactical thinking capabilities as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
This competition is open to one team from each of MnSCU’s four-year institutions. Teams are to be comprised of four upper division Information Technology students (Business, MIS, CS, CIS, and related majors).
During the competition, teams will be given a new business case study followed by 23 hours to review the case, do research through the internet (no twittering, Facebook, phone calls or email) and develop supporting documentation. At the conclusion of this time the team will give a presentation to a panel of industry judges. Teams will be sequestered during the 23 hours.

In addition to personal bragging rights, the winning team will take home a trophy for their school and a major accomplishment for their resumes. But whether the teams win or lose, team members will make great industry connections which can help with their career success.
